The software brings a newly developed logistics module based around the tried-and-tested technology of all the other FactoryLogix modules – it replaces the solution provided previously within the Diplan software suite (Diplan GmbH was acquired by Aegis Software in 2012).
Features of the logistics module include: materials receiving and labelling; incoming quality control; material kitting and dispatch; material position tracking; resource scheduling; material reservation; shopfloor materials handling and traceability; and part replenishment and reordering.
