Compact in size yet exerting a clamping force up to 150 kN, the clamps have been developed to fit between workpieces and take little space on the fastening base, be it a T-slot table, baseplate, serrated rail or other platform.
Fastening entails tightening a single bolt located in the centre of each clamp. This is typically performed manually, although the procedure may be automated, using a hydraulic cylinder that sits under the fixture on a 3-axis machining centre table, or behind the clamping faces of a tombstone on a 4-/5-axis machine.
