The Zoller Smile mT presetting and measuring machine will be launched officially in the UK at MACH 2014 (7-11 April, Birmingham NEC). Visitors to Stand 5778, Hall 5 will be able to see for themselves this new entry-level system, which according to Zoller sets new standards in its simple and intuitive operation.

The freely-configurable user interface on the Zoller Smile 'myTouch' (mT) comprises a touch-screen displaying individual windows that can be 'swiped' like on a tablet computer and pulled to the required location. In addition, a newly designed toolholder spindle makes power operated clamping available even to those with limited budgets. Also on Zoller's 18 sq m stand at MACH 2014 will be the Venturion 450, a modular, premium class presetting and measuring machine. According to Zoller, the Venturion 450 can address the finest precision demands as well as accommodate large and/or heavy tools. Other Zoller machines set to feature on the stand include the Genius universal measuring machine for everything from the testing of individual criteria to complete, fully automatic, operator-independent tool checks, and the Zoller POM for diameter measurement. Zoller TMS (Tool Management Solutions) will also figure heavily. In fact, not only will there be live TMS software demonstrations on the stand every 30 minutes, but a free copy of TMS Standard software will be offered with any order placed at the show. Visitors are invited to bring any tool measurement or presetting applications along to the show for a full evaluation.
