WNT (UK) joins BTMA and offers training days

WNT (UK) is now a full technical member of the BTMA, the trade association for UK-based subcontract manufacturers of precision turned parts and machined components.

In addition to providing technical advice on cutting tools to the BTMA's membership, WNT (UK) will also be working with the organisation to deliver a series of training days that members can attend. These events, at locations around the UK, will be tailored to suit those attending and will cover a diverse range of machining issues, ranging from basic cutting tool application through to advanced machining techniques. "The BTMA has played a role in UK manufacturing for many years and its membership includes a diverse mix of small to medium sized business that are typical of WNT's customer base. Therefore, it was a logical step for us to become actively involved with the BTMA and this has been the driving force behind the development of these WNT training days," says Tony Pennington, managing director, WNT (UK). The training days are not exclusive to BTMA members and WNT welcomes enquiries from existing customers, who feel that they would benefit from some in-depth technical training to better manage the performance of their cutting tools. Customers can discuss their requirements with their local WNT technical sales engineer.
