Cutting tool specialist WNT is reporting strengthening levels of business in July and August.
The company puts this down to its strategy of employing competitive marketing strategies, targeted product promotion and ensuring that customers continue to receive the highest level of customer support.
Customers are already benefiting from a new Special Offer brochure highlighting the range of high quality products that have been enhanced with incentives to promote continued investment in the latest tooling solutions.
The company is confident that its approach to the market and its reaction to the ‘credit crunch’ will have minimum impact on its business.
“By combating the endless stories of the credit crunch that we are subjected to by the national media with a mix of positive and effective promotions on some of our most popular products, we have seen a significant increase in the number of customers making purchases during July and August,” says Tony Pennington, WNT (UK) managing director.
“Considering that these two months are normally quiet due to holidays, we have been pleasantly surprised by the volume of customers placing orders, with July generating a record number of buying customers through our sales office here in Sheffield.”
