Ward CNC selects Edgecam as preferred CAM solution

The company says the move is prompted by the increasing uptake of 4- and 5-axis machining via Ward CNC's ranges of Hartford, Hyundai-Kia, Soraluce and Union multi-axis machining centres and milling machines. Ward CNC's applications manager, Richard Shaw, said: "More and more customers are demanding multi-axis routines – in many cases up to 5-axis. And while our machines are more than capable of meeting, if not surpassing, customer requirements, the sophisticated yet easy-to-use CAM technology ensures customers gain the maximum benefit in terms of cost-effective, highly flexible production routines. With this in mind, two members of our applications team are already fully conversant with the features and ability of EdgeCAM."
