Ward CNC, Sheffield, has been appointed the new UK agent for Hyundai-Kia CNC turning centres and vertical and horizontal machining centres.

The Hyundai-Kia range joins Ward CNC’s existing agencies for Hankook, Hartford, Soraluce, Toshulin and Union. The Hyundai-Kia turning range extends from 2-axis to multi-axis, multi-tasking machines with C and Y axes, driven tools and sub-spindles, with swings over the bed of 320 to 900 mm. The horizontal machining centre range boasts pallet sizes from 400 to 800 mm, while vertical machining centres run from 500 to 2,450 in the X-axis, including high speed models. Horizontal boring machines are another element in the Hyundai-Kia portfolio. Included in the machining centres’ cost-to-capability pedigrees are high-speed spindles, linear scale options, swarf management systems and indexing or B-Axis tables. Available for immediate delivery in the turning range are a number of small, medium and heavy-duty slant bed two-axis lathes, including four variants with C-Axis and driven tooling functionality. On the machining centre side, the twin-pallet KH63G horizontal and the HI-V50D open-fronted twin pallet models are also available for demonstration and immediately from stock. With a considerable number of machines already in stock an under demonstration at Sheffield, Ward CNC’s quick-response capabilities are further enhanced by an extensive stock of machines in bonded storage.
