Lancashire-based Express CNC has for over 30 years offered independent machine tool service and repair packages to machine shops throughout the UK. In addition, the Haslingden-located company has a sales network that distributes the Union range of heavy duty boring machines. Through that effort it has established an extensive client list among global OEM and Tier 1 aerospace firms based in the north-west, with this supporting Victor CNC’s drive in targeting the aerospace market.
Victor CNC's sales director, Alan Birch, says: “We are delighted with this new arrangement. It immediately enhances our service and sales network, and it gives the sales division of Victor CNC access to businesses that we do not currently work with. This is particularly the case with some aerospace OEMs in the north-west where Express CNC has cultivated relationships over many decades. We have worked with Express CNC for over 20 years and its reputation is second to none. The collaboration will enhance the already excellent service provided by our maintenance and support department whilst extending our sales reach in the UK.”
Express CNC's managing director, Howard Bradshaw, adds: “Our engineers have been servicing Victor CNC machines for decades, so we know all the machines intimately. The new arrangement will see our team of service engineers work in partnership with the Victor CNC team to enhance the existing service network across the UK. With regard to selling the extensive line of Victor CNC horizontal and vertical machining and turning centres, our focus will be upon our existing network in the north-west area. The Victor brand is renowned for its build quality, performance levels, technology and innovation and also its reliability and longevity, we are delighted to be associated with such a reputable name.”
Express CNC has built a web portal (www.victormachines.co.uk) to support its sales network. Linking to the Victor CNC global website, this provides comprehensive information and ‘.pdf’ brochures on the Victor product line.
