Universal Robots adds fourth UK distributor for its collaborative robots

The new UK distributor is Geku Automation based in Rochester, Kent; it joins R A Rodriguez, based in Letchworth, Hertfordshire; Global Robots, based in Bedford, Bedfordshire; and Olympus Technologies, based in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire. "We are seeing signs in the UK of increased interest in investing in new technology, as the manufacturing sector slowly eases out of recession, so we have now put in place a comprehensive distributor network to enable us to cope with increased demand and capitalise on market opportunities," explains Kristian Hulgard, UK and Nordic sales manager.
