Together they can provide customers with even more comprehensive support through complementary grinding solutions and shared sales networks.

The United Grinding Group offers a wide range of grinding solutions, from surface and profile grinding to cylindrical grinding and tool machining. Through its Studer brand, the Group is prominently represented in the world market for external and internal cylindrical grinding.

The strategic partnership with Tschudin AG, a Swiss company specialising in the manufacture of high-precision centerless cylindrical grinding machines, ensures that customers of both companies can benefit from a complementary product portfolio. The companies will continue to operate economically independently but will share their distribution networks.

"We are delighted to be working with Tschudin, whose centerless grinding machines offer an optimal complement to our range. This new strategic partnership provides our customers with a complete range of cylindrical grinding machines," said Stephan Nell, CEO of the United Grinding Group. “We look forward to a close cooperation for the long term.”

"The United Grinding Group has a strong global presence. The establishment of our sales company in China in 2019 represented yet another consistent step into the international arena. We intend to continue on this path," said Urs Tschudin, the shareholder of Tschudin AG.

"And the strategic cooperation with United Grinding helps us achieve this even better. By using their sales channels, we can reach our customers even more effectively," adds Iwan von Rotz, CEO of Tschudin AG. “The partnership, therefore, brings advantages for all parties involved.”
