TopSolid and ICAM in post-processor agreement
TopSolid is to employ post-processors developed by ICAM Technologies Corporation following an agreement between the two companies.
Post-processors for lathe, mill and mill-turn machines for TopSolid’CAM’s worldwide customer base will be developed.
The sharing of technical knowledge and other resources will allow ICAM to develop certified TopSolid’CAM post-processors with CAM-POST that will enable end-users to maximise their machine tool investments, it is claimed.
ICAM's Virtual Machine is an integrated productivity tool within the post-processors, this delivering a powerful machine tool simulation environment that supports optimisation and testing of NC programs in order to prevent collisions and over-travel automatically during post-processing.
