XYZ Machine Tools Ltd is celebrating 25 years in business with a three-day Open House at its Burlescombe, Devon, headquarters.

The event - starting on Thursday, 21 May and stretching into Saturday - will include a complete showroom clearance sale of ex-demonstration machine tools. Event timings are 9.00 am until 4.00 pm on Thursday, 21 May, and Friday, 22 May, and from 10.00 am until 1.00 pm on Saturday, 23 May. An added attraction is that XYZ offers several alternatives for financing the purchase of any manual, combination or full-CNC machine tool in its extensive product portfolio. “Our flexible buy-back scheme and other options such as payment holidays or VAT deferment will make this latest Open House an event not to be missed,” said managing director Nigel Atherton, adding: “especially as every purchase will be backed by a no-quibble guarantee, expert applications advice and unrivalled service and support.” In addition to the substantial discounts available on all ex-demo machines, XYZ, which specialises in machine tools ideally suited to prototype and low volume applications, will be unveiling its new SMX 2500 CNC/manual bed mill. As with the three larger models in the SMX bed mill range, this 3 hp/4000 rpm variable spindle speed head machine with its 1,245 mm by 228 mm table is equipped with the latest ProtoTRAK conversational control technology that features simple English prompts rather than G and M codes.
