Subcontractor Precision Products (Brighton) underlines AS 9100 Rev C at MACH 2014

Subcontractor Precision Products (Brighton), has been accredited to AS 9100 Rev C, the latest quality management system standard for the aviation, space, and defence industries, and will be underlijing that fact at MACH 2014 on the BTMA Pavilion (Stand 5111, Hall 5).

The company, which already holds ISO 9001:2008 certification, is one of the first to achieve Rev C which will cover both the Rustington, West Sussex factory and a second manufacturing site at Hollingbury, near Brighton, also West Sussex. Precision Products specialise in the machining of high precision turned parts and is an established, second-tier supplier to the aerospace sector producing: a family of spacers used widely throughout all types of aircraft; a stainless steel pawl, which forms part of the table assembly for first and business class seats; gas springs for Boeing military transport aircraft doors; plus , pistons, eyes, end plugs and studs in a range of materials from stainless steel to aluminium.??
