Star representation appointment for Ireland
Machine Tool Technologies (MTT), Cork, has been appointed to sell and service Japanese-built Star sliding-head mill-turn centres in the Republic of Ireland.
The agreement, which was signed on 5 March 2007 by Richard O’Keeffe, managing director of MTT and Bob Hunt, managing director of Derbyshire-based Star Micronics GB, also allows MTT to market FMB bar magazines and JBS compensating guide bushes from Germany, for which Star GB is sole agent for Britain and Ireland.
Since its inception in 2001, MTT has grown to be one of the foremost suppliers in Ireland of world leading brands of machine tools and precision tooling. Mr O’Keeffe has over 20 years’ experience in the machine tool industry and has an established track record in CNC sliding-headstock lathes.
