Star Micronics' Open House displays latest technology
Sliding-head lathe specialist Star GB will hold an Open House event at its Melbourne headquarters in Derbyshire from Tuesday 18 through to Thursday 20 of June.
Throughout the Open House, engineers will be on hand to demonstrate the capabilities of some of the company's most popular sliding-head lathes, including: the SR-20IV, latest in the successful 20R series; the SR-10J, showcasing its efficiency and compact build; the heavyweight SR-32JN; and the innovative SW-20 mill turning centre (see video).
Aside from the technology itself, experts will be on hand to discuss financing.
And, apart from the central business of discussion and investigating latest technology, on the Wednesday evening, a Hog Roast will be held for all Open House attendees.
