Significant enquiry levels for acs at MACH 2010

Air Cleaning Systems (acs) demonstrated its airborne particulate removal systems and the mobile universal low pressure cleaner range from PH-Cleantec, at MACH 2010.

There was a high level of interest in the Cleantec SRK1000-AS, that heats water or coolant to conduct machine cleaning operations, from both machine tool users and resellers. More information on the SRK100-AS can be found in the products section here. Also on show, the acs OMF1000 media air cleaning system removes coolant mist/smoke from machining applications. With oil and coolant mist increasingly problematic in modern high performance machine tools, acs had a lot of interest from health and safety conscious manufacturers. The free standing OMF1000 unit is designed for direct attachment to most machine tools and the highly efficient media air cleaner has been developed for machining applications where high and low pressure coolant is used. With an air volume of 1000m3h and a 500W motor that generates a noise level below 68dB, the compact 120kg unit comfortably fits into any machine shop or tool room with minimal disruption. Air Cleaning Systems managing director, Mark Lemkey said: "The show was an unprecedented success for us. We generated a significant amount of very good leads for the PH-Cleantec system and the OMF1000 at MACH. The machine cleaning unit was a huge hit for us, as nobody at MACH had seen anything like it before. Besides generating a high number of leads, we also had a lot of show visitors taking our brochures away. Hopefully this will lead to even more interest in the months to come and open doors for our products that could not all be shown at MACH."
