Turbex will use stand 5040, at MACH 2010, to present its newest range of aqueous cleaning machines, introduced at the start of the year under an exclusive agency agreement with MAFAC.

There are five machines in the MAFAC range, represented on the stand by the Elba, which will be under power. More information on the MAFAC range can be found here. Also being exhibited by Turbex, for the first time at MACH, is a compact, ultrasonic cleaning system called Versa, from FinnSonic. This modular, expandable equipment can have any number of tanks, with 40, 80 or 120 litres capacity. Typical cleaning processes include ultrasonic or immersed jet cleaning, single or multiple water rinsing and hot air drying. Each tank is operated from a panel linked to a central PLC system, which provides ease of use and also allows retrofitting of handling automation for 10 kg or 20 kg basket weights. Manual handling by pneumatic assist lift is also available for baskets weighing up to 30 kg. Another Turbex aqueous washing machine on show will be the AS-100, from a range of front-loading models. Manufactured from stainless steel, the machine is intended for degreasing and cleaning components up to 950 mm across by 700 mm high, and weighing a maximum of half a tonne. The cleaning medium is detergent, dissolved in water, heated to 50 to 75 ºC, delivered at 400 litres/min and 4-bar pressure through rotating spray pipes. Completing the machine exhibit will be the CL-360 from the Turbex Classic range of stainless steel, top-loading spray washers. Ranging from 360 mm to 1,200 mm in diameter, the machines offer value for money, with a compact design suitable for a wide range of applications.
