Sandvik Coromant seminars address business challenges

Sandvik Coromant UK is to host a series of 'The Challenge to your business' seminars at its Productivity Centre in Halesowen, from 18 to 20 June 2013.
The seminars will make available new advanced knowledge and production methods that will allow manufacturers to reduce cost while maintaining high quality standards.
Daily presentations and demonstrations will provide new product information, technical solutions and processes in a variety of metal cutting areas.
The programme will include modern cutting tools and application techniques for turning Inconel components (Thursday, 20 June only), productive methods for milling pockets and other component features, as well as hole making methods, using the latest solid and indexable carbide tooling technology.
During the day, indexable carbide gear hobbing and small part machining employing high pressure coolant tooling on a sliding-head machine will also be addressed.
Registration to attend a day seminar is now open to manufacturers who will, in addition to the free seminar, have the chance to enter into a prize drawn to win an exclusive tour of the Mercedes AMG Petronas factory.
