Robotics roadshow on the move

1 min read

The roadshow will visit Milton Keynes, Newport, Nottingham, County Durham and Cannock over the next two months.

AA Robotics instigated the roadshow to launch its Denso assembly robot range. The company will show how effective robot technology can be in reducing lead times when replacing traditional mechanical pick-and-place systems by using live 4- and 6-axis robot demonstrations. Igus will exhibit its range of self-lubricating bearings, flexible cables and cable chains, including its multi-axis, flexible Triflex R Energy Chain for robotic applications. Due to its round-shaped design, Triflex R guides cables smoothly around the outer contour of a robot, without becoming hooked in and jammed. Safety Systems and Laidler Associates will be on hand to offer advice on machine safety solutions. As an additional incentive to attend, Denso are giving away hospitality tickets to the Silverstone Test Day 2007. Denso are sponsors of the Toyota F1 team and winners will be able to meet the drivers and watch them practise. To be entered into the draw, those interested need to register and visit one of the roadshows. The roadshow will visit Milton Keynes on 22 March, Newport on 29 March, Nottingham on 4 April, County Durham on 16 April and Cannock on 23 April. Early birds can take advantage of the 7.30 am start and claim a free bacon butty and cup of tea or coffee. For further details and to register, visit www.aarobotics.co.uk.
