Missler Software, the mould design software specialist, and SimCon, a plastic simulation specialist, have agreed a technical and commercial partnership. Using simulation technology in the early stages of part and mould design allows companies to quickly evaluate the manufacturability of their designs.
The direct link with SimCon's CadMould software allows Missler's TopSolid customers to directly benefit from the advantages of plastic simulation. This partnership offers TopSolid'Mould users an optimised tool for the design of plastic parts and can be used as a first step in determining the feasibility, quality and cost, of designing their parts and injection moulds.
"Our collaboration with SimCon follows on from customer needs to reduce design times and improve the quality of their mould designs by using simulation right across their design processes. It is logical for Missler Software to work closely with SimCon, a leading simulation provider, to offer our customers the most modern and optimised tools on the market for mould design," says Marc Choquin, Missler's French sales director.
Missler Software is a global suppliers of CAD, CAM and ERP solutions. The company's product lines include TopSolid and GOelan.
SimCon is a team of plastic experts, highly qualified engineers and technicians who analyse manufacturing processes to build simulation models for thermal-rheological analysis.
