Mills CNC, the exclusive distributor of Doosan machine tools in the UK and Ireland, has booked the largest stand at next year's MACH Exhibition, which runs from 7-11 April next year, at the NEC, Birmingham.

The company's 806 m² presence in Hall 5 (Stand 5430) will host 21 Doosan machines, including UK debuts that take in a new range of 7-axis sliding-head sub-spindle lathes and a new range of small Lynx lathes equipped with Y-axes. Mills will also showcase a number of large capacity Doosan machines, including: horizontal boring machines, vertical turning lathes, horizontal and vertical machining centres, big Puma lathes, as well as its latest 5-axis machining centres, mill-turn machines and multi-tasking turning centres. Although the focus of Mills' stand is on machine tools, the company's value-added, after-sales services will also be promoted at MACH, with the CNC Training Academy (recently voted the Best Training Scheme in the 2013 Manufacturing Industry Awards) and Mills' new machine tool servicing operation, Mills CNC Servicing, both featuring prominently. MACH is said to be an important event in Mills' calendar and is the only exhibition that Mills attends. Nick Frampton, Mills CNC's managing director says: "Our business is totally focused on the UK and Ireland and we consider MACH (which is the Number One show for UK and Irish manufacturers) to be 'our' exhibition. That's why we invest so much resource into making it a success."
