Exclusive distributor of Doosan machines in the UK and Ireland Mills CNC has just launched a new ancillary equipment promotional campaign, aimed at customers wanting to improve the capabilities and productivity of their machines, without breaking the bank.
The promotion includes the sale and, if required, the installation of 4th/5th –axis rotary tables, mist extraction units, barfeeders, automated workhandling systems and specialist tooling packages on customers' Doosan machines. All the retrofitting work being project managed and undertaken by Mills CNC Service engineers.
Every six weeks, Mills will run a specific promotional campaign on a different range of ancillary equipment.
The first campaign, ending 30th April 2013, covers Nikken rotary tables, with customers able to save up to 25% off the list price of some units (while stocks last). The next promotion, starting 1 May 2013 and lasting for six weeks, will be on Filtermist extraction units.
Says Nick Frampton, Mills CNC's managing director: "The manufacturing performance and productivity of Doosan machines can be increased via the integration of ancillary equipment.
"Whether it's a 4th or 5th axis unit for a Doosan machining centre, or a barfeeder for a Doosan lathe or turning centre, or a mist extraction unit or specialist tooling packages, we can deliver the optimum ancillary equipment solution - on time and on budget.
"Whilst a majority of our ancillary equipment business is turnkey in nature -occurring when we supply a new Doosan machine tool to customers - we also coordinate and manage a significant number of ancillary equipment retrofit projects every year too."
According to the company, the benefits of selecting Mills to handle retrofit requirements include:
[] Mills' purchasing power and relationships with ancillary equipment manufacturers/suppliers means it has competitively-priced ancillary equipment in stock – available for immediate delivery and installation
[] Mills Service Engineers install (or coordinate the installation of) equipment at a customer's facility, ensuring that the whole operation occurs efficiently and to plan
[] Mills can project manage the complete installation; meaning that, for customers, there is only one point of contact
[] When ancillary equipment is installed by Mills service engineers, the Doosan machine tool warranty is not affected
Concludes Nick Frampton: "Our ancillary equipment promotions are just another example of how Mills is helping customers improve their competitiveness and performance.
"To keep up-to-date with the latest offers available, customers should look out for our monthly promotional emailers and check our website www.millscnc.co.uk for the latest (and best) deals."
