MACH Machine Tools raises its profile and presence in Ireland

MACH Machine Tools’ attendance at the Manufacturing Solutions Ireland Show raised the profile of the company and its products with Irish audiences, but also results in the company signing up IMS Tooling as its Irish servicing agent.

MACH Machine Tools, a leading supplier of CNC and manual machines and machine shop equipment to UK and Irish component manufacturers, and part of the Vigilance Group, has announced that its recent attendance (as an exhibitor) at Manufacturing Solutions – Ireland (14–15 June 2023), was a huge success.

Exhibiting at the event for the very first time, the company showcased a best-selling MACH VS-1SP turret-type milling machine and a MACH MDS 900-4T CNC/manual knee mill, equipped with a four-station ATC and the advanced WinDelta DynaPath control, at the show.

Despite the unrelenting high temperatures experienced over the two days, both machines proved popular with visitors.

SMatt Andrew, MACH Machine Tools’ sales director, said: “We already had a relatively small presence in Ireland prior to the event.

“Our attendance was intended to build upon this position by raising awareness of MACH Machine Tools and the wide range of products we sell, service and support to a distinctly Irish audience and, in doing so, help cement our position as a machine tool supplier of choice with Irish manufacturers.”

The company’s attendance at the show ticked all the right boxes with business being ‘brisk’ over the two days.

The company’s manual milling machines and lathes proved to be a huge draw, as did its range of DynaPath-controlled machines with visitors being particularly impressed with the control’s ease of use as well as its power, speed and highly accurate contouring capabilities.

A strong selling point of DynaPath controlled machines, that went down well with all visitors, was the ability to undertake trouble-shooting and fault diagnoses as well as training and applications support remotely, often by-passing the need for ‘physical’ interventions.

At the end of the show MACH Machine Tools reported that it had taken a significant number of serious enquiries, especially from Irish educational institutions and organisations (schools, colleges and universities), and confirmed the sale of a MACH MDT 1, a two-axis turret mill, to Lawrence Engineering Ltd., based in County Sligo.

In addition to leads, enquiries and sales, the event also helped MACH Machine Tools solidify its presence in Ireland by signing up IMS Tooling, a well-established and well-known machine tool and equipment repair, maintenance and servicing specialist, based in Limerick, as its servicing agent in Ireland.

Matt Andrew concluded: “Manufacturing Solutions – Ireland was a great show for us.

“In addition to generating new business it also proved instrumental in helping us increase the scope and scale of our Irish operations.”
