MACH 2014 - Turbex Versa cleaning line; automated version launch

1 min read

Turbex will show its range of new cleaning machines as well as launching an automated version of its ultrasonic Versa cleaning line on Stand 5271, Hall 5 at MACH 2014 (7-11 April, Birmingham NEC).

Turbex makes bespoke solutions that can wash, degrease, rinse and dry batches of industrial components. Pictured here is a fully automated Turbex Versa cleaning line. It can be set up to do ultrasonic or immersed jet cleaning, single or multiple water rinsing and hot air drying. Particle filtration and oil separation can be included, according to customer requirement. Another facet of the design is the inclusion of degassing as standard. This removes air dissolved in the water resulting from emptying and filling a tank. The presence of air is undesirable as it takes energy out of the ultrasonic action and reduces its effectiveness. Turbex will also show the Elba model from its range of spray cleaning machines. It is intended for precision applications and the holding basket and spray jets are adjustable individually. Each cleaning program can be run with other movement options such as rocking of the basket. Another notable point about these machines is that they have integral condensing systems, so there is no need for extraction to be fitted. For heavy duty cleaning tasks, Turbex will have its AC-1.3 aqueous washing machine on show. According to Turbex, these machines have proved popular in the UK for degreasing, precision cleaning, phosphating, paint removal, de-rusting and de-scaling. Completing the exhibits at the show will be bench-top ultrasonic cleaning tanks, which can be used stand-alone, as bench-mounted units or as part of an integrated modular cleaning system.
