MACH 2014 - New Kasto saws

1 min read

Kasto is aiming its range of bandsaws, circular saws and hacksaws at jobbing shops.?

While the company still makes high-end sawing machines, it is making a name for itself with those runing small workshops. The three saws on display will be the KASTOfunctional U bandsaw, the KASTOradial M6 circular pull-down saw and the KASTOhbs1 hacksaw (Stand 4518, Hall 4). The KASTOfunctional pivot-type bandsaw with hydraulic in-feed is available in manual, semi-automatic and fully automatic versions, with suffixes M, U and A respectively. KASTOradial is a family of cold circular saws including four manual, pull-down versions designated M4, M6, M7 and M10 and two semi-automatic models, U7 and U10. The KASTOhbs 1 hacksaw is a hydraulic, semi-automatic model with two cutting speeds facilitating a pushing, arched cutting motion invented by Kasto in 1947. Requiring minimal floor space, the machine is designed for light to medium workshop use and is suitable for cutting profiles, beams and solids. Mitre cutting from 0 to 45° extends the machine's versatility. Kasto will also be holding open days 18-20 June 2014, at its showroom and technical centre in Milton Keynes.
