1 min read

Ward Hi-Tech will use MACH 2010 to showcase a number of its turning and machining centre ranges from Hwacheon, Dah Lih, HNK and Kiheung.

The three Hwacheon turning centres on show are: the Hwacheon T2-YSMC driven tool CNC turning centre with twin turret Y-axis, twin spindles and twin 8 in diameter hydraulic chucks; the Hwacheon Cutex 200MC 2-axis turning centre with driven tools and the Hwacheon Hi-Tech 700 slant bed CNC lathe with a 24 in diameter hydraulic chuck, 2 m bed length and 700 mm diameter turning capacity. Dah Lih is represented by the MCV-860 vertical machining centre with rapid traverse rates of 40 m/min in all axes and travels of 860, 550 and 550 mm in X, Y and Z axes, respectively, while having a 950 by 550 mm table. Also on display is the Dah Lih MCV-1020BA vertical machining centre with axis travels of 1,020, 550 and 560 mm in X, Y and Z axes, respectively, and table size of 1,300 by 660 mm. New at MACH, the HNK VTC16/20 vertical lathe with driven tools has a table diameter of 1,600 mm, turning diameter of 2,000 mm and turning length of 1,600 mm. The Famup high speed 5-axis and moving column machining centre range shares a modular construction style featuring linear axis drive motors on some models. The Famup Maxxmill 500 5-axis vertical machining centre on display features a 600 by 600 mm tilting and rotating table with X, Y and Z-axis travels of 650, 550 and 500mm. Finally, the Kiheung KNCU1000-3100 bed-type universal milling machine is making its MACH debut and boasts axis travels of 3,100, 1,250, 1,050 mm in X, Y and Z, with a 38 kW main drive motor.
