KMF 8,400 ft2 site expansion underway
With turnover continuing to grow at Newcastle under Lyme KMF (Precision Sheet Metal), the next phase of the company's expansion strategy is under way, with an extension to its main manufacturing facility.
With planning permission approved, KMF has commenced work on a further extension to its existing 100,000 ft2 production facility.
Expected to be completed by Q 3 of 2011, the 8,400 ft2 extension will house almost £1.5 million of laser processing and automation systems, in order to meet the increasing demand for precision sheet metal components and integrated assemblies
