Heat treatment expansion targets aerospace and motor sport
Wallwork Heat Teatment is expanding its Bury head office operation with the acquisition of an adjacent 1-8 acre site.
Wallwork is already one of the largest heat treatment contract processing sites in the country and this expansion gives “adequate scope for the next stage of the Group’s planned expansion”.
“The extra space available is important,” says chairman Hamish Wallwork. “Wallwork is currently expanding into the aerospace and motorsport markets, which require the installation of new, high technology equipment to meet the ever more stringent quality specifications.”
The recently Nadcap-approved company plans to invest £600,000 into aerospace operations this year.
