Birmingham-based, workholding specialist, Leader Chuck Systems is offering a free Bison vice to MACH 2010 visitors, with orders placed at the show. The company will be demonstrating a wide range of fixturing solutions, for rotational and prismatic components, on stand 5303.

Explaining the company's MACH offer, managing director Mark Jones said: "Every visitor that comes to the Leader stand will receive a voucher, which they can redeem against a Bison portable swivel vice when they place an order at, or following, the show. Valued at £80, these cast iron precision vices feature induction hardened and ground steel jaws, and can be clamped to any bench or work surface." On display at MACH will be Leader's award-winning MultiChuck MMY concentric clamping system, alongside workholding solutions from Hainbuch, Iram and MicroCentric. Also represented on the stand will be the Bison range of cost-effective chucks and vices. Bison is a Polish manufacturer of machine tool ancillary products, with a wide range of standard manual chucks, many of which are available with cast iron or steel bodies. With diameters ranging from 80 mm to 1,250 mm, the standard manual chucks are available with 2, 3, 4 and 6 jaws. Geared scroll self-centring, independent and combination models provide robust fixturing for the turning of raw material or parts. Bison's extensive product range is now fully supported in the UK, with Leader providing pre-sales technical support, stocks of popular items and spare parts. "We will be featuring precision clamping and fixturing systems that visitors can very quickly grasp the principle of; they will also be able to appreciate how these systems can quickly improve their overall machine tool efficiency," Mr Jones said.
