1st MTA workholding and machining equipment showcased at MACH 2010

Workholding and machining systems specialist, 1st Machine Tool Accessories (1st MTA), will exhibit a wide variety of equipment on stand 5349, at MACH 2010.

Among the equipment on display, the Kitagawa NV chuck range has been developed to meet demands for large vertical lathe power chucks is available in eight models for components from 62 to 1,000 mm diameter, and is rated for speeds up to 2,900 rpm. High clamping torques, extreme rigidity and fast operation are key features of Kitagawa's GT series heavy duty rotary tables, available from 200 to 320 mm diameter and component clamping torques up to 2,800 Nm. Chick One-Lok's maximum grip capacity of 432 mm is complemented by Chick's new 'Boltfast' jaw system, enabling jaws to be replaced quickly and efficiently, with a positional repeatability of 0.02 mm. The Darex XT3000 semi-automatic drill refurbishment module fulfils international aerospace standards for controlling key geometry when regrinding drills up to 21 mm. Other products on show will include the versatile A-pod workholding system, Eagle Lift magnetic lifting equipment and APB/AMR series milling magnets. 1st MTA's comprehensive range of workholding solutions will also be complemented by a display of Tecnomors self-centring automation grippers, indexing chucks and 5th axis manual vices, as well as: Abbott and Leave fixturing and clamping products; OK-Vises; Brighetti reduction bushes; CoolJet high pressure coolant systems; Micromag filtration units; machine mounts; and Overbeck deburring twister lathes.
