Feeler UK, part of the Engineering Technology Group, is launching its first Feeler lathes in the UK market.

The FT and FTC range of 2-axis lathes are cost-effective, high quality, mid-range machines, with driven tooling options, aimed at the 'premium economy' sector of the market. The FT range of boxway lathes feature a 45-degree slant bed, BMT 65 twelve-station turret and the latest Fanuc 0i-TD control. The three machines in the range, the FT200, FT250 (pictured) and FT350, cover chuck sizes from 154mm (6") to 385mm (15") with through-spindle bar capacities ranging from 65mm (2.5") to 115mm (4.5"). Maximum turning diameters range from 330 mm (13") to 620 mm (24.4") and maximum turning lengths from 530 mm (20.9") to 1,530 mm (60.2"). Standard items include a tool pre-setter, programmable tailstock, 3-jaw power chuck and a bar feeder interface. The FTC range includes three sizes of 30-degree slant-bed lathes featuring linear guideways covering bar capacities from 45 to 65 mm, chuck diameter from 154 mm (6") to 205 mm (8") and maximum turning lengths up to 660 mm. The two smaller machines in the range, the FTC 100 and FTC 150, have a 10-station turret, and the largest machine, the FTC 200L has a 12-station turret. Options on all FT and FTC machines include driven tooling, spindle workholding packages, automation and full turnkey systems supplied in conjunction with sister company Engineering Solutions. The machines come with a two-year warranty.
