Fabricator MTL Group wins listing in Sunday Times HSBC International Track 200

MTL Group has been listed in the prestigious 'Sunday Times HSBC International Track 200' for the first time.

The Rotherham firm makes steel and aluminium parts for offshore wind farms, construction equipment and military vehicles. Customers include Caterpillar, Renault Trucks and Rheinmetall. The Sunday Times review ranks Britain's private companies with the fastest growing international sales over their latest two years of available accounts. Dr Henry Shirman, managing director of MTL Group, said: "MTL Group has continued to grow during these challenging times through careful investment in our people and in the latest state-of-the-art equipment. This has allowed us to continue to develop overseas markets." "To be included in the Sunday Times HSBC International Track 200 list is a massive achievement and a real testament to the hard work and effort by everyone involved with the company." MTL Group's exports have grown by 28% over the past two years ending March 2012, representing exports sales of £4 million. Since then MTL Group has recently announced that it has won its largest ever export order worth around £9 million.
