ETG to give away lathe after MACH

Celebrating its largest ever MACH presence (on stands 5630 and 4318) and the recent announcement of new machinery partners, including Halter for automation solutions, and Buck Chucks for subsidiary ETG Workholding, the Engineering Technology Group is giving away a CNC lathe as the top prize in a VIP star draw.

The draw will be part of ETG’s build-up to MACH 2016 exhibition. Members of the ETG VIP Club receiving a unique numbered entry ticket which could see the holder winning a brand new Hardinge GS150 horizontal turning centre. There will also be workholding vouchers for four runners-up.

The draw is open to ETG VIP club members: candidates being those who have either purchased machines from ETG or been quoted for a machine in the past 12 months. There will also be wild card entries on the MACH stand. The draw will be made by a director of the Engineering Technology Group at the ETG headquarters on Friday 22nd April.

The names of the winners will be posted on the ETG website during week commencing 23 April.

Says ETG group managing director Martin Doyle: “We always try to be a bit different in the way we promote ourselves and this draw offers lucky winners the chance to expand their manufacturing operations either with enhanced capacity from the lathe or by increasing productivity with advanced workholding.

“The GS150 is a very popular CNC lathe and is widely regarded as being a ‘best in class’ machine combining speed, power, accuracy and durability in a very compact footprint. It will be a great addition to any machine shop, as will the workholding and machine shop accessories available by redeeming the ETG Workholding vouchers,” he adds.

The Hardinge GS 150 will be supplied fully PDI’d and commissioned. The workholding vouchers are worth £100, £250, £500 and £1,000, respectively.
