Sales orders at surface finishing, polishing and deburring equipment vendor Ellesco have increased 50% in the first quarter of 2015 in comparison to the same quarter in 2014. This significant rise in orders is continuing the pattern of growth seen throughout 2014.

In the first quarter of 2015, Ellesco received 19 orders for equipment that includes a number of Timesavers wet and dry working abrasive belt machines, Timesavers belt, disc and rotary brush machines, Autopulit robotic polishing cells and Kuhlmeyer twin belt grinding machines.

Commenting upon the surge in orders, Ellesco's managing director, Guy Newton, says: "Over the last two years, we have been implementing new strategies and systems at Ellesco to ensure the sustained growth of the company whilst enhancing our sales, service, consumable and after sales response for the end users. This has improved customer experience whilst generating increased sales. This growth has also been underpinned by our investment in staff, as we have significantly increased our staff levels within both the sales and service departments of the business. The increased turnover and sales, highlights that our strategy and the hard work of our staff is reaping its rewards. Additionally, this consistent growth and investment has been a major factor in Ellesco deciding to take its largest ever exhibition stand at MACH 2016."

"Furthermore, the diversity in application and customer base is a true gauge for how relevant our surface finishing and deburring solutions are to the general manufacturing industry. We have worked on fully automated robotic polishing systems for blue-chip OEM's through to off-the-shelf polishing machines for subcontract manufacturers. This emphasises the industrial expertise and experience of our staff to deliver a cost-effective and -efficient solution whether the customer is in a subcontract environment or a mass production facility," concludes Newton.
