With manufacturers becoming more conscious of the importance of high quality surface finishes, Ellesco will have seven machines in operation at MACH 2014 (Birmingham NEC, 7-11 April) to demonstrate productive solutions for deburring and finishing components of all types. On Stand 4510, Hall 4, Ellesco will give a UK exhibition debut to the new T&B Series 1000 from Timesavers. This new arrival to the UK is Timesavers' first machine capable of processing sheet material on both sides in a single pass.
For visitors who would like to trial their parts at MACH, Ellesco will have the 42-Series 1350WRbW on show. Consisting of a grinding head for deburring that is followed by an eight-piece rotary brush head for corner rounding and surface finishing, the 1350WRbW is capable of finishing components from 20 to 1350mm wide with its integral vacuum conveyor table.
Ellesco will also provide MACH visitors with the opportunity to trial parts on the 22 Series 900WB machine from Timesavers. Renowned for being one of the most flexible machines in the Timesavers stable, the 900WB can deburr, surface finish, polish and apply small radii to a remarkably diverse application range, says Ellesco.
Complementing the range of machines at MACH 2014 will be the UK exhibition launch of the WMS-Engineering series of deburring machines for cast or machined components through a contained robotic cell. The German manufactured range is primarily bespoke to meet the exact needs of the end user, although some machines offer standardisation. At MACH, the WMS unit on show will be the W10 7-head robotic cell that Ellesco says has been integrated into numerous automotive production lines in Germany. The new W10 is capable of picking components up to 10 kg through multiple axis manipulation.
Ellesco will also showcase a long belt abrasive machine for surface finishing from Kuhlmeyer and high pressure waterjet deburring solutions from Sugino. In addition, polishing machines from Autopulit and extraction units from UK manufacturer Carter Thorne will be demonstrated at MACH 2014.
