The Motherwell-based firm, an official distributor of Heidenhain controls, offers breakdown and maintenance contracts on various types of machines, including XYZ Machine Tools; it is in fact that company’s service provider in Scotland.
Founded in 2011 by the four current directors, Stuart Mitchell, John Douglas, Dougie Beaton and Jack Cowell, Absolute MTS now has a team of six engineers. The latest hire is experienced machine tools salesman David McCafferty.
“Partnering with Absolute MTS was the next logical step as we’ve been working with them for many years,” the company says. “This is the perfect time for Absolute MTS to step it up a notch and be the exclusive Dugard dealer in Scotland, still providing the same excellent service cover, but now increasing their role to include sales for the full range of machine tools.”
