Dormer Tools sets out to share knowledge with new wall chart
Dormer Tools will unveil a brand new technical wall chart at the Southern Manufacturing and Electronics exhibition, Farnborough, February 15-16.
The chart has been designed by Dormer with engineers and technicians from all industry sectors in mind, bringing together commonly used technical information on drilling and threading processes, including:
• Decimal and fractional equivalent sizes
• Material cross reference chart
• Recommended tapping drill sizes
• Drill feed chart and table of cutting speeds
• Formulae for calculating optimum operating data
Ricky Payling, sales manager at Dormer Tools, explains: "At Dormer, we are committed to helping our customers carry out their machining processes in the most efficient way possible. We have always believed in sharing our expertise with industry partners and customers alike.
"The new wall chart is the first of numerous initiatives Dormer will undertake in 2012 to improve technical support, training and education. A technical handbook and product range catalogue are also in the pipeline."
