The diamond orifice securely and precisely engages the diamond to produce a concentric stream alignment to the cutting nozzle. The mixing chamber is manufactured from high-wear-resistant material designed for use with the abrasive water jet process. In some instances, the life of the diamond orifice surpasses that of the mixing chamber, which, if necessary, can be replaced easily to maximise the diamond's life. A ruby can also be used with Dialine and will offer the same quality of cut, but with a shorter working life.
