Subcontrator Dawson Shanahan will be highlighting its new high volume machining capacity at MACH (Stand 5115, Hall 5).

Already well known for its combination of in-house cold forming, precision CNC machining and assembly techniques, the company now offers high volume CNC machining with its CNC rotary transfer Triflex unit. The newly acquired Triflex modular, multi-station CNC machining centre offers simultaneous five-sided machining without re-clamping, a turret with up to eight tools per station, toolchanges during the machining process, extremely short chip-to-chip time, and separate loading and unloading stations. The machine has four fixtures mounted on a central trunnion that indexes to each machining station. Each fixture can index 360° independently. Customers can see a finished part coming off each fixture every 52-second cycle - 70 parts per hour. Dawson Shanahan will be showcasing how it is continuing to fulfil its promise to deliver, develop and manufacture components and assemblies with a speed and finished quality that add real technical and commercial value for customers.
