Dawson Shanahan appoints new commercial director

Dawson Shanahan, a manufacturer of cold formed and precision machined components, has announced the appointment of Jeff Kiernan to the position of commercial director for its global operations.

Mr Kiernan has been with Dawson Shanahan for eight years, originally joining as operations manager before taking on the role of commercial manager. As a graduate engineer with management qualifications, he has a proven background in production engineering and quality control. His experience in the sector spans over 30 years, including production, technical and senior management positions for leading multinational organisations. For Dawson Shanahan, the promotion of Mr Kiernan forms part of an ongoing programme to develop the company as the leading global specialist in cold forming and precision machining. Mr Kiernan commented, "With over 60 years in business, Dawson Shanahan is widely recognised for its innovative and often pioneering use and development of cold forming and precision engineering processes.
