Danobatgroup Railways Open House to show wheelset production line

Danobatgroup Railways, part of the Spanish Danobat Group, a machine tool design and manufacture activity, is to hold an Open House this month, following its official opening last September.

The new company is part of the Danobat Group's strategy to target niche sectors, offering full turnkey production systems. Danobatgroup Railways is involved in projects worldwide and is currently at the assembly stage of a fully automatic flexible line for rolling stock components (axles, wheels and wheelsets). This production line, which is capable of producing 50,000 wheelsets per year, will be shown during the Open House, which is to be held from 15-30 January, at the company's Bergara, Spain, location. The production line is completely automatic, from the insertion of the forging code of the axle on the central PC, to the bearing mounting of the wheelset.
