Citizen sees needs-driven sales following MACH

Orders taken by Citizen Machinery UK (01923 691500), following enquiries from customers using MACH 2012 exhibition to scout the latest sliding-head and fixed-head turn-milling technologies, had generated 12 machine sales worth over £2.5 million for Citizen and Miyano product lines, up to the Queen's Diamond Jubilee Holiday.

Said managing director Geoff Bryant: "MACH was important to customers, because all the major players in our sector were there for direct comparison under one roof. This has led to follow-up business from our machine line up and software presentations that totally exceeded all expectations. "Indeed, we still have a string of quotations awaiting final customer decisions or management endorsements that are directly attributed to positive enquiries from both new and existing users that we expect to be finalised with orders within the next quarter." Most visitors to the Citizen Machinery stand indicated how busy they were, with increased order books and new work. Companies were looking for 'needs-driven' solutions to achieve more competitive pricing, meet deliveries and to ensure quality levels are maintained, the company highlights. With many of Citizen Machinery's customer order books standing at, or heading for record levels, more than ever before at a show, enquiries were genuine with deep interest expressed in the nine new Citizen CNC sliding-head and Miyano fixed-head machines and the latest Citizen Wizard low-cost programming software shown for the first time at a UK exhibition. As for machine finance, supported by Citizen Machinery's finance portfolio, over the last five years not a single customer failed to obtain a solution to fund the investment, it is stressed Video of CNC Wizard software available here
