Brawn GP visit for Sandvik Coromant Open House visitors

Sandvik Coromant's is a Team Supplier to Brawn GP, and the team's car will take centre stage at the open days, where visitors will be able to get a close look at the current Formula One championship leader. In addition, 12 visitors to the event will win a trip to the Brawn GP factory and headquarters at Brackley in Northamptonshire, less than 10 miles from Silverstone, the current home of the British Grand Prix. At Brackley, the prize winner will receive a factory tour that embraces what is known as the 'Brawn Experience', providing a rare opportunity to see behind the scenes at a highly successful Formula One team. Brawn GP currently sit clear at the top of the 2009 Formula One Constructors' Championship, with its drivers, Jenson Button and Rubens Barrichello positioned first and second in the Drivers' Championship. The theme of the Sandvik Coromant event is: "The Challenge To Your Business." Throughout the day, scheduled presentations and live machining demonstrations will address competitive advantage by achieving lower price per component and reduced lead times, through increased productivity in core application areas. Many of the new innovations and products from this year's CoroPaks will also be on display with specialists on hand to answer questions. A number of Sandvik Coromant's Productivity Center partner organisations will also be present to provide support regarding complementary technologies.
