All new from Hexagon at MACH

Everything on display at the Hexagon Metrology stand was being shown in the UK for the first time. With products from all areas of its business, Hexagon demonstrated its ability to offer a broad range of metrology products and solutions.

John Drover, Hexagon's CMM and Vision sales manager, said: "Considering the tough economic climate in the UK at the moment, the show was very well attended and the interest, and enquiry levels, shown for our new products were very high in comparison to the previous show. This is clearly an indication of growing confidence in the UK manufacturing sector." The new systems on show at MACH included: the Leica Absolute Tracker AT401, the only battery-operated and IP54-certified Absolute Tracker; the Leica Absolute Tracker AT901 with PowerLock technology, that automatically locks onto any moving target without user intervention; the ROMER Absolute Arm, the first portable measuring arm with absolute encoders; the Optiv brand of vision and multi-sensor measuring machines, particularly suited to the telecommunications and medical sectors; and the Leitz Reference Xi/XT series of stationary CMMs.
