Ajax compiles manual machine package to suit maintenance, education and more

Ajax Machine Tools International has brought together an extensive range of manual machine tools, said to be ideal for training schools, maintenance departments and general machining applications, and has compiled a single 18-page booklet, downloadable from the company's website (link below).
The range of machines available spans surface grinding, with table sizes up to 1,524 mm by 508 mm; an extended range of Meehanite constructed pedestal drills, with up to 70 mm capacity; and bench/pedestal machines up to 25 mm capacity. In addition, heavy duty radial arm drilling machines are included, having a capacity up to 65 mm and 1,300 mm head travel.
There are several ranges of turret mills, with tables up to 1,372 mm by 279 mm, and featuring Heidenhain digital readouts (DRO); horizontal and universal milling machines, having pendant controls and tables up to 1,525 mm by 325 mm; and a wide range of horizontal borers, with DRO options and table sizes up to 1,800 mm by 1,400 mm are also featured.
Turning is represented by a large range of lathes, including high precision, large swing, universal and heavy duty versions providing up to a massive 10 m between centres and 1,600 mm swing. Also featured is a complete range of horizontal bandsaws, having up to 330 mm by 400 mm or 330 mm round bar capacity. Vertical bandsaws, with up to 1,000 mm throat depth, are also available.
In addition, Ajax is able to supply a range of high quality options and accessories, including workholding, tooling, coolant systems, special guarding and DROs, at very competitive deliveries and prices.
