Addison Saws acquires new land and buildings to support growth; unveils new reconditioned saws business

Addison Saws has purchased a 50,000 sq ft parcel of buildings and land, together with the freehold, in order to support and secure its future growth strategy here In the UK.

"After 57 years of building up a best of class brand reputation, extensive machinery range and market knowledge in the field of aluminium, upvc and specialist steel machining centres, cold circular and bandsaws and tooling, we felt the time was right to firmly establish a modern sales demo facility and comprehensively equipped central offices, workshops, spares and services, training and technical development complex based in Stourbridge, West Midlands," explained Gary Knight, managing director. With land for further expansion, this will now house the company's headquarters here in the UK., where it will aim to keep its customers better informed on the development of new machining technologies, processes and machines, as well as providing them with better access to explore the development of their own lower cost, increased efficiency and reduced energy consumption practices and machinery operating procedures. The new complex will also house a new business offering to its customers, the 'Addison – Reconditioned Saws' business.
