Aberlink sets up in new HQ

Aberlink has moved to a new global headquarters to help satisfy increasing demand for its growing range of CMMs and optical measuring devices.

The new purpose-built HQ is at Eastcombe, Nr Stroud, Gloucestershire and will house all of the company’s manufacturing, administration, training and showroom facilities. The facility is four times larger than the company’s previous manufacturing facility. Aberlink was formed in 1994 by Marcus Eales and Gavin Bailey and makes a wide range of cost-effective CMMs and optical measuring systems. Since the introduction of the company’s first CMM - Axiom, Aberlink has enjoyed rapid growth, with an average year-on-year increase in turnover of more than 28 per cent. Recent product launches include the ‘shop-floor proof’ Extreme CMM, with a further three product releases are promised for later this year.
