Aberlink appointment to spearhead international growth
Aberlink has appointed Dave Robinson as the company's new business development manager.
He has global responsibility for all company co-ordinate measuring machine, software and vision products supplied via Aberlink's network of distributors.
Mr Robinson has wide international, commercial and technical experience within the CMM industry, having previously worked for IMS, LK and, latterly, Metris as product marketing manager.
Already the largest UK-owned CMM manufacturer, this latest appointment is part of a planned company growth strategy intended to significantly increase Aberlink's worldwide market share.
The company's expansion plans include its recent relocation to a larger hi-tech manufacturing site/headquarters complex, substantial investment in new machine tools, and the launch of several new CMMs.
