Developed in conjunction with market demand for a smaller machine in the MX Series, Matsuura UK have pre-ordered three of these hand-built precision machines for the UK market for early 2017 delivery. One has already been sold to UK customer Crossthwaite & Gardner.
The 10 pallet MX-330 has been designed for the automated mass production of small precision components. Maximum workpiece size is 300 mm diameter by 330 mm height, with an individual component weight of 80 kg. Pallet changing time is under 30 seconds and the pallet system is CAPTO C6 compatible.
Also showing for the first time in the UK is the Muratec Murata MT100iT2 turning centre. It features a 165 mm chuck size and two tool turrets with 15 live tools on each.
It also incorporates an integrated Intelligent Servo Unloader. This bar fed machine accommodates bar up to 51 mm diameter, with maximum component length of 180 mm and weight of 2.5 kg.
Matsuura is the sole UK agent for Muratec Murata turning centres and lathes.
Six other machines in a variety of configurations will be demonstrated.
