Telford based Bakers specialises in all types of polystyrene sculptures, patterns and prototype work, using the UK’s largest Bermaq 5-axis CNC milling machine to cut the intricate shapes and profiles. Bakers is already a Vero VISI-Series CADCAM user, in fact, it already operating three seats of VISI-Series CADCAM software and two seats of STRATEGIST HSM machining software. “Increasingly we are becoming involved in complex prototype work that necessitates alterations and modifications to patterns and moulds as the job progresses,” says John Baker, managing director of Bakers Patterns. “With the complete integration offered by Vero through its three software packages we can now respond very rapidly to customer requirements and take onboard and action developments to tools and models.”
